Latinx identity is not a monolith. We're part of a multiracial ethnic group that speaks hundreds of languages and encompasses a multitude of cultures. Some of these identities within being Latinx have been uplifted, while others have not. Time to dig deeper. Nickelodeon Animation Studio's VP of Recruiting and Talent Development Camille Eden will delve into thoughtful conversation with DiverseToons Co-Founder. Monique Henry-Hudson, getting at the roots underpinning access and representation in animation and how navigating intersectional identities -- such as being an Afro-Latina woman -- influences those opportunities.

Camille Eden is Vice President, Recruiting & Talent Development, Nickelodeon. Before joining Nickelodeon, Camille had spent nearly a decade at Walt Disney Animation Studios as a talent acquisition and outreach manager. There, she built a reputation for promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices while helping staff projects like Frozen and Frozen 2, Wreck-it Ralph, Moana and Big Hero 6. She has done stints at Sony Pictures Imageworks (recruitment), DreamWorks (production manager) and her new home Nickelodeon (production supervisor).

Monique Henry Hudson is co-founder of DiverseToons. Monique is currently a production coordinator at Netflix Animation Studios and has worked on several animated feature films while at Blue Sky Studios. She is also the host of Simply Robotix, The Podcast, and co-founder of the educational organization Diverse Toons. Her goal is to make animation a more accessible industry for Black people and POC.
