Angela Peralta

Angela Peralta is a Mexican-American filmmaker born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Her passion for entertainment began at an early age as she discovered the world of film and television. She was inspired by the impactful yet scarce diverse stories that she could relate to growing up as a woman of color. As someone who enjoys organizational and management tasks such as programming, logistics, administration and producing she knew there would be an area of opportunity in film for her to develop her skills. Angela is currently a senior at California State University Northridge pursuing a BA in film production with an expected graduation in December of 2022.She has previously interned for acclaimed LatinX organizations and festivals such as NALIP and SDLFF, and is currently a programming intern for LALIFF.
